AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 9 . 94 . 220 , MASON COUNTY CODE
WHEREAS , the Mason County Commissioners received a written
petition requesting that Fosen Lake (Stetson Lake) be declared a
no-motor lake; and
WHEREAS , a public hearing was held on July 16 , 1984 , to consider
this request; and
WHEREAS , no objections were heard on the request; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of Mason County
that said request be approved;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY ORDAINED that Fosen Lake (formerly
known as Stetson Lake) be included in Mason County Code,
Chapter 9 . 94 . 220 , which states motor boats will not be allowed
on any lake which is less than 10 acres in size .
