PUBLIC PARKING RESTRICTION
PUBLIC ACCESS ROAD - NO. 58110
WHEREAS, the Mason County Road No. 58110 known as Public
Access Road, servicing the public boat launch located in Union and
running Northerly from State Route 106 has limited parking space
available, and
WHEREAS , it is in the best interest of the Citizens of Mason
County to have equal opportunity of use of the available parking
space, and it is the intent of the Board of Mason County Commissioners
to assist in providing parking opportunity as stated herein, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Mason County Commissioners
that overnight parking shall be prohibited, and that for the purpose
of enforcement, overnight parking shall be defined as occupying space
within or along the road as stated herein for a total of more than
two (2) hours from the hour of 9 : 00 p.m. to the hour of 6 : 00 a.m. ,
and furthermore, in the interest of public safety
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, that parking shall be totally prohibited
at any time in a radius of twenty (20) feet of the fire hydrant
located in the Southwest corner of said road, and
BE IT ALSO RESOLVED, violation of this ordinance is a
misdemeanor, and
FOR CONFORMITY HEREWITH, the County Engineer is hereby
directed to cause the erection of appropriate signing to enact this
ordinance, which shall state - 2 Hour Parking - 9 : 00 p.m. to 6 : 00 a.m.
ADOPTED this 30th day of April, 1984 .
