Barb,
Allan brought this issue to my attention and I wanted to provide you with some of the
information that may help you. The gauging stations on the Skok River belong to the USGS. The
County and Tacoma Power pay for a share of the operations and maintenance costs for the
stations and use the information on river levels obtained by USGS from the stations but we do
not own or operate the stations. I am not aware of other stations that may be in place on the river
and I do not think the County owns any stations there.
