X 2) A 20 foot wide fire apparatus access road is required to estend within 150 feet of any portion of the exterior walls of the building. An unobstructed vertica clearance of 13 feet, 6 inches is required. Dead-end fire awara less roads longer than 150 feet are required to have an approved turnaround. The maximum grade of a fire apparatus access road is 14%.
