inhalation Dust, vapor and/or fume may be. irritating to the respiratory system, and
can resutt in both acute and chronic overexposure.
Skin Contact Dust, vapor and/or fuive may cause irritation.

Effects of Overexposure
Acute Overexposure If left untreated: weakness, vomiting, loss of appetite, uncoordinated body
movements, convulsions, stupor, bloody stools,and possMy coma.
Chronic overexposure If left untreated: weakness, insomnia, hypertension, slight irritation to
skin and eyes, metallic taste in mouth, anemia, constipatioil, headache,
muscle and joint ppains, neuromuscular d}sfunction, possible paralysis
and encephalopatlty, pneumucuiliosls and n;etal fume fc,,er.
Emergency and First Aid t'rocedures T
Eyt:s Flush with copious quantities of water. Gct irriitlediate medical attention.
Skin Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
Inhalation Kemove from exposure. Get medical attention if experiencing effects of overexposure.

Notes to Physician
Lead and its inorganic compounds are neurotoxins which may produce peripheral neuropathy. For
i an overview of the effects of lead exposure, consult Occupational Safety and Health Administration
i Appendix A of Occupational Exposure to Lead (29CFK1910.1025). Arsenic may be a pulmonary
carcinogen. For an overview of the effects of arsenic exposure, consult Occupational Safety and
Health Administration Appendices of Occupational Exposure to Inorganic Arsenic (29CFR1410.1018),
Arsenic, antimony, tin and inorganic On compounds are primary chemical irritants of the skin.
The chronic effects of antimony ingestion may resemble those of arsenic. Antimony is a severe
pulmonary irritant, and stannic oxide has been shown to Cause benign pneumoconiosis, Copper
is not normally toxic when ingested orally in amounts expected from occupational exposure. Exposure
to copper dust, vapor or fumes may cause metal fume fever. Aluminum powder causes pneumoconiosis in
humans when inhaled as a very fine powder in ma»ive concentrations.

permissible exposure limits or threshold limit values specified by OSHA or other local, state and
federal regulations.

of the Federal c)ccupaticinal Safety and Health Administration Standards for Occupational Exposure
to Lead and Inorganic Arsenic, respectively. Other local and state regulations may also apply.
Eye Face shield or vented goggles should be used around moltcn metal.

Coveralls, or other full body clothing shall be worn during product use and properly launtlered after
use, with the wash water disposed of in accordance with local, state and federal rcgularions. Hard

PRECAUTIONARY
STATFMENTS
There are two major means of heavy metal absorption; namely, inhalation and ingestion. Most inhalation
problems can be preYentcd with adequate use of aforementioned ventilation and respirator information.
Always exercise normal, good personal hygiene prior to smoking or eating. Smoking and eating should
6e confined to non-contaminated areas.
Work clothes and cquipmenr should remain in designated lead contaminated areas, and never taken
home car laundered with personal clothing. Launder contaminated clothing before reuse.
Wash hands, face, n;ck and arms thoroughly before eating ur smoking.
The product is intended for industrial use only, and should be isolated from children and their
environment.
