Just so you know, most of his farm is within the floodway and the bridge may have been part of a long
enforcement case the County had with him years ago. It went on for years. What I am suggesting people
do, is apply with a JARPA application and all pertinent info so that we can determine what permits are
necessary and if structures actually can be replaced. I can let him know that.

Grace, I received a voice message from Doug Nyhart(not sure of last name spelling)and he was referred
here from DEM regarding a bridge on his farm that washed out. He wants to get the bridge repaired asap
and wants to know what permits he will need, can he make repairs as an emergency, or just what will we
require so that he can replace his bridge. Apparently the bridge goes over to the portion of his farm where
his horses are located, so the bridge was the only way over to this area. Can you call him and give him
information about permits, regs and if we can expedite....his number is 206-818-3188. Thanks.
