ESTABLISHMENT OF FAIRGROUNDS RENTAL FEES
WHEREAS, it is necessary to have a rental fee schedule for
the Mason County Fairgrounds; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Mason County Commissioners held a
public hearing on December 12, 1983 for consideration of establishment
of the proposed fees; and
WHEREAS, there was public input in setting the fee schedule;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Board of Mason
County Commissioners establish the Mason County Fairgrounds Rental
Fee Schedule as outlined below®
BUILDING PRICES PER DAY
Olympic Hall $120 . 00
Booths Around Outside of Olympic Hall $5 . 00 Each
Small Hall $50 . 00
Agriculture Building $40 . 00
Bingo Hall $25. 00
Poultry Barn $20 . 00
Comm. I $20 . 00
Comm. II $30 . 00
Cattle Barn $20 . 00
Stage $10 . 00
OR 10o (5o for Non-Profit Organization) of renter' s gross
receipts received, whichever is greater.
Entire Fairgrounds Within the Fence $350 . 00 Per Day
OR 100 (5% for Non-Profit Organization) of renter ' s fees
received from concessionaires and gate receipts, whichever
is greater.
PLUS electricity fromthe time the renter starts setting up
until the day after the event ends. The renter is responsible
for cleaning all grounds including parking lot and the bathrooms
during and after the event. The renter has two days after the
event is over to clean the buildings , grounds , parking lot and
make any repairs needed. The renter will be charged for any
clean up done by fair staff after the renter has had ample time
allowed according to manager' s discretion. This will include
a caretaker to assist and handle problems .
STORAGE FEES (3 Month Minimum)
Boats & Trailers (12 Foot Minimum) Per Foot Per Month 1. 00
Cars Flat Fee Per Month 15 . 00
Camping Trailers - No Hookups Flat Fee Per Day 2 . 50
Camping Trailers - With Electricity Flat Fee Per Day 3 . 50
Any other storage will be negotiated by the Manager.
