RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO GRANT FRANCHISE AND NOTICE OF HEARING
WHEREAS, Mason County Board of Commissioners intends to grant
a franchise for the purpose of providing cable television service
to specific areas of Mason County; and
WHEREAS, the Commissioners have received an application to
provide cable television service by Harbor Videocable, 136 South
First Street, Montesano, Washington 98563; and
WHEREAS, Harbor Videocable has proposed to provide cable
television service to the following areas of Mason County served
by County roads:
Township 21 North, Range 3 West, W.M.
Sections 20 , 21, 22 , 23, 26 , 27, 28 , 29
WHEREAS, the franchise for cable television service sets forth
provisions for a minimum number of viewing channels, plus additional
terms and conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Resolution Granting a Franchise is available in
the Office of the County Commissioners for review;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Mason County
Commissioners that a call for Public Hearing is issued and is
scheduled for January 30 , 1984 , at the hour of 10 : 00 a.m. for the
purpose of the citizens of Mason County to appear before the Board
to express their interest in, or objections to, the granting of a
franchise to Harbor Videocable. The Public Hearing will be held in
the Commissioners ' Chambers in the Mason County Courthouse.
ADOPTED this 3rd day of January, 1984 .
