SIGNING / RESTRICTION

WHEREAS, it has been brought to the Board of County Commissioners ' attention
that a potential hazard exists to the traveling public because of citizens fishing
from the Hunter Creek Bridge, located on the Skokomish Valley Road (County Road No.
41640) at Mile Post 1.76; and,
WHEREAS, citizens fishing from the Hunter Creek Bridge are endangering them-
selves as well as the traveling public by restricting the traveled way to the trav-
eling public; and,
WHEREAS, an engineering and traffic investigation has determined that it is
in the best interest and safety of the traveling public to assure a clear and unob-
structed roadway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that fishing from the Hunter Creek
Bridge shall be prohibited.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the County Engineer is hereby instructed to cause
the erection of the appropriate signing to enact this resolution.
