Diane,
I have completed my field review of Mr. Wilson's driveway access location on Stonebriar Place.
The existing driveway access for this property is located on Stonebriar Place approximately 105
feet north of Jensen Road (edge of pavement). The ditch about 20 feet north of the driveway is
inundated with 18+ inches of standing water on both sides of the road with no edvidence of
positive flow. Two 18 inch culverts cross Stonebriar Place within the area of standing water.
The proposed relocation of the access to Jensen Road is not possible for geometric and
safety/sight distance concerns as per RCW 47.50—Access Management. Due to the very low
level of traffic on Stonebriar Place, the driveway's existing location appears to be the most
acceptable location. Moving the driveway location further north is also not adivsable given the
close proximity of the standing water in the ditch.
