Dear Mr. Byrne:
j Determination of Non-Significance for
Jerry Ward, Two Lot Short Subdivision,
' Johns Creek, Northwest 1/4, Section 32,
Township 21 North, Range 3 West,
Mason County, WDF No. 5431, WRIA 14.0049
Coho salmon are naturally produced in this section of Johns Creek.
Development on Tract A appears to be no issue to this agency. Provision
for and maintenance of riparian zone in Tract B is important for the
noted salmon stock. An undisturbed, naturally vegetated margin adjacent
to the creek provides many desirable features for fish. We suggest a
width of approximately 50 feet.
We concur with your determination.
Sincerely,
Grant Fiscus, Habitat Manager
Habitat Management Division
