A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR FUNDING ASSISTANCE FOR A
CONTINUING PROJECT OF EDUCATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF ORV LAWS TO THE
I .A.C. AS PROVIDED BY THE OFF-ROAD AND NON-HIGHWAY VEHICLE ACT
(R.C.W. 46.09)
WHEREAS, under provisions of the Off-Road and Non-Highway Vehicle Act,
stated funding assistance has been authorized and made available to aid
in financing the costs of projects for the education and enforcement of ORV
laws; and,
WHEREAS, the Board of Mason County Commissioners considers it to be in
the best public interest to operate an education and enforcement project in
Mason County during the seasons of Off-Road Vehicle use.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Mason County Commissioners
that the Sheriff be authorized to make formal application to the Interagency
Committee for Outdoor Recreation for fund assistance, and that any fund
assistance so received be used for the operation of the education and enforce-
ment project for ORV laws in Mason County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution is to become a part of a
formal application to the Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreation.
