AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 33-83
PERSONNEL POLICIES
WHEREAS, the Board of Mason County Commissioners adopted
Resolution No. 33-83; and
WHEREAS , within the resolution the Family Health Insurance
Amount was defined in Section XI; and
WHEREAS , it is desirable to amend that Section;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Section XI , Family
Insurance Amounts; is amended as follows:
Section XI : Family Health Insurance Amount:
Option 1. Effective January 1 , 1985, $50 . 00 per month is
to be paid toward the cost of family insurance coverage for
non-union employees working 90 hours per month or more and
elected officials , provided that such employees and/or
officials have family health insurance for their dependents .
Option 2 . Those employees employed before but not after
January 1 , 1985 and not utilizing the $50 . 00 for family
insurance coverage may take $31. 00 per month into their
gross monthly salary. Those who wish to utilize this
option agree that the employer cost of Social Security
and retirement shall be deducted, and the balance shall
be paid to the employee.
