EMPLOYMENT APPLICATIONS
WHEREAS, Mason County Policy, Personnel Practices , states :
2.52.180 Recruitment. (1) New employees will be obtained from bona-
fide applicants, either casual or in response to advertisement.
WHEREAS, the issuance of a job application to a job-seeking citizen when
no jobs are available or intended, serves no constructive purpose; and,
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the county to reduce this
administrative burden.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said policy read as follows :
2.52.180 Recruitment. (1) New employees will be selected from bona fide
applications received in response to an advertisement with the intent to fill
a position(s) . No casual applications will be accepted.
ADOPTED this 25th day of February , 1985.
