Regarding: Application for Special Use
To Whom it may Concern:
We are writing this to request to be approved for a Special Use Permit for our property at I I I E.
Lund Dr. Shelton, Washington 98584. Parcel #32130 75 90181
Legal Description TR 18-a of Survey 4/74 Lot: A SP #795
Our intended use for this building is such that we do not ever expect any hazards to affect us, our
neighbors, or other county residents.
This building will be built to the current 2007 Mason County building codes to ensure we meet
the counties comprehensive plan.
This building will also have its own septic system that has already been approved by Mason
County, to ensure it does not compromise public health and safety.
Because of the wooded area surrounding our property this building will not cause an impact on
our neighbors or their homes. The counties Urban Service programs would also not be affected
by this additional building on our property.
This building would be temporarily used to house my Grandmother and Grandfather. My
grandparents were previously living over 1 hour from Shelton, which would have made it
impossible for me to help care for them.
My grandparents are both currently in severe ailing health. I have recently relocated them to
Mason County in temporary housing until we can provide them a better care plan for their final
years.
My Grandfather, Robert is 78 years old and suffers from Pulmonary Hypertension, Bony spur in
his spine, degenerative disc disease, Coronary Artery Disease with a complete blockage in some
arteries, Failing heart valve and deteriorating Eye sight. Robert can no longer walk for than fifty
feet without having to stop, sit down and rest.
My Grandmother,Neva is 70 years old and has rheumatoid Arthritis, hypertension, osteoporosis,
SV tachycardia, Herniated disc disease in her spine, and a 1 degree AV blockage in her heart.
As their Granddaughter their closest living relative it is my desire to keep them home with my
family and care for them for the remainder of their lives. As they did for me while I was young.
In the future the building will be used for a shop and personal storage for my family. At no time
do we intend this building to be a separate residence that will not gain profit or compromise
public safety.
We thank you for your time and consideration in helping us fulfill our desires in the care of my
Grandparents.
Sincerely,
!iVnd&Angel Evans
Robert and Neva Humberg
