WHEREAS , the present judge of the Mason County District Court
has been appointed by the Governor of the State of Washington to the
Mason County Superior Court , effective January 1 , 1987 ; and ,
WHEREAS , the Commissioners of Mason County are authorized by
state statute to appoint a successor to serve as Mason County
District Court Judge until the next general election ; and ,
WHEREAS , the Commissioners have reviewed the applications of and
interviewed those attorneys who applied for such appointment ; and ,
WHEREAS , the Commissioners have decided on such appointee and
announced the appointment in open session on Tuesday , December 16 ,
1986 ; and
WHEREAS , documentation of such appointment is both necessary
and desirable ;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED that Larry J . King , Attorney at
Law, and resident of Mason County , is appointed to serve as judge of
the Mason County District Court , effective January 1 , 1987 .
Signed the 19th day of December , 1986 nunc pro tunc for the
oral appointment of December 16 , 1986 .
