A RESOLUTION velating to the intention of the Board of Mason,
County Commissioners to condemn certain preperty within Mason
County for public use .
WHEREAS , the property demcribed below io necessary in crier
to provide sufficlunt land for the relocation uf Mason county
Road No . 98250, known as the Bid BelFair Hjqhway ! Union Rivut
Bridge Project ) ; and
WHEREAS, the use of the land in question is a public use;
WHEREAS , the proparty to be acquired in necessary to said
public Una; and,
WHEREAS, the County has been unable no reaoh an agreement,
with the property owners of that certain parcel described below
with vespect to the purchase thereo& aniJ,,
WHEREAS , pursuant to Chapter 0 . 08 SOW, Masun County has the
authority to condemn property within the County for public ose .
NOW, THEREFOPE, BE !T RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MASON COUNTY that it is necessary for county
purposes to acquire a portion of the tolinwing described
pcewi2es :
Said portion is more particularly described as follows :
All that portion of the East e85 feet of the Narth One-half
( NI/2 ) of the Southwest Quarter ( SWI /dj of tha Northeast Quartet
(NEI/4 ) of Section 20, Township 23 North, Range 1 West , W . M . ,
Lying westerly of the Old Belfair Highway, which now lies
northeasterly of the newly established southwesterly right -of -way
line of the Old Belfair Highway rounty road . moce particularly
shown on the official map of County Roa6 Project 1012 on file
the office of the County Engineer , Mason County , Washington , an�l
a portion thereof , heceto attached an "Exhibit A. ''
The total amount of right-of -way being acquired by th=
instrument is 0.04 acre .
ALSO, that area shown on "Exhibit A" as 0.076 acres of temporary
construction easement west Qf the westerly right-of-way and
between Engineer ' s Station 9+50 and 12+10, said constauction
easement to be returned to the pr"perty owner upon completion of
the project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of County
Commissioners, finding that it is unable to reach agreement with
the owner Eor the purchase of the pcoperty described hecein,

hereby requests the Prosecuting Attorney of Mason County to
petition the Superior Court pursuant to Chapter 8.08 RCW for the
acquisition of such property by means of a condemnation action.
