The recording of this document amends and releases the Certificate of Non-Conforming
Development recorded against the referenced parcel on January 30, 2009, Auditors file
#1933906. An inspection of the structure was performed under building permit
(BLD2018-00729) was inspected on July 13th, 2018 and verified that there is not a gas
stove installed at this property, resolving the non-conforming status.

The parcel as noted above contains code enforcement violations of the
building/construction and/or development codes as adopted by Title 14 and Title
15 of the Mason County Code. Records indicate that the installation of a gas
stove in the lower floor of the dwelling, permitted under building permit number
BLD98-00079, did not have a final inspection as required by Section R109 of the
International Residential Code. The permit has been cancelled due to lack of
activity.
The owner at the time was informed of a failed final inspection on February 27,
1998. The permit has not been reinstated and the necessary inspection(s) have
not been performed. The purpose of this notice is to inform future owners and/or
lienholders that the structures, as they exist, do not comply with Mason County
requirements according to standards currently in place.
The recording of this document does not waive the rights of Mason County
to pursue enforcement/compliance action against the owner of record at
this time, future owners who purchase the property in this condition or any
party with any legal interest in the parcel or personal property. The gas
stove placed in the structure has not been inspected or approved by Mason
County Building Department.
