Explanation of need for ADU
We area ppLying for a permit for an ADU at 630 a Phillips lake loop to allow the owner to live
in the ADU while saving moneyto build their new home. There is an existing cabin on the property
that the customer is currently living in. Their plan is to stay in the cabin while building the ADU then
move into the ADU and build a new home while their kids will have the ability to live in the ADU as
they get older and the parents live in the new home.
The construction of this new ADU won't be detrimental to the public as it will meet all
building codes and setbacks. This ADU is not going to be a rental and will just provide additional
space for the current family that lives on the property. The construction and use of the ADU will
follow all county requirements and since it's a residence it won't create any hazardous conditions.
With the current capacity of the onsite infrastructure there won't be any extra stress or hardship on
county facilities or infrastructure. Since it will follow the county's codes and there is an established
home on site already the adjacent lands won't be impacted any more than they currently are and
there won't be additional burden on or need for additional urban services
Applicant is to provide pre-addressed envelopes or mailing labels to apply
to envelopes of adjacent property owners' MAILING ADDRESSES
within 300 feet of property boundaries for notification
