SUBJ: Stormwater Report Review NAME: North Mason Library Building__ GRD96-0030 BLD96-1161 Warren, Public Works review of the plans and specifications for the proposed North Mason Library Building in Belfair raises no concerns relating to either grading or stormwater features. The grading quantity estimate appears to be reasonable, and compaction and material specifications are adequately addressed. The Stormwater Control features, though not accompanied with calculations or supporting data, appear to be developed to meet Puget Sound Water Quality Authority standards, providing for both quantity and quality control of stormwater discharges. As part of Public Works acceptance of Stormwater Site Plans, Operation and Maintenance Covenants are required to be created to cover the maintenance and operation of privately owned stormwater control facilities. Attached please find a copy of the covenant form Mason County is using to satisfy this requirement. The covenant form should be completed by the applicant, their signature notarized, the document then filed with the Mason County Auditor's office, and a copy of the recorded instrument delivered to Public Works for monitoring and administration. The set of plans submitted to Public Works is being returned with this IDC. For future reference, the stormwater plan that is being approved is being kept with the bulk/set of plans by your department.
