X jRf COM2009-00076 2 of 5 7) All approved plans are required to be on-site for inspection purposes. If inspection is called for and plans are not on site, Approval WILL NOT be • granted. In addition, a reinspection fee, based on the current fee schedule, minimum one-hour will be charged and collected by the Mason County Building Department prior to any further inspections being performed or approvals granted. X 8) A structural observation report, as defined in Chapter 17 of the International Code, shall be provided to the Mason County Building Department. Reports shall be prepared by the engineer or architect of record responsible for the structural design or another engineer or architect designated by the engineer or architect or record. Reports shall be submitted to the Mason County Building Department within 2 weeks following each structural observation. A final observation report shall be submitted prior to the final inspection of the structure. Written statements shall indicate the permit number, type of inspection, and identify any reported deficiencies. The_onstruction of the permitted project is subject to inspections by the Mason County Building Department. All construction must be in conforryfance with the international codes as amended and adopted by Mason County. The geotechincal report/assessment shall remain attached to the approved building ptans. 18) An inspection performed by a representative of the geologist, their authorized representativ , or engineer of record, shall be completed on-site prior to the footing pour to verify that earthwork and foundation installation activities comply with he Geotechnical report or assessment recommendations. In addition a final inspection report, prepared by a representative of the geologist, their authorized representative, or engineer of record shall be required to verify that erosion control, drainage and final work is completed in accordance to the Geotechnical report or assessment recommendations. Omit the insulation inside the cmu blocks and use 100% grout filled cavities. Please have your contractor call me if they have any questions.
