I will only be able to approve it for 2 bedrooms unless they get an evaluation from a designer,engineer since there's no records(again,they may want to consult a designer anyway for future plans). We found the drainfield and Dbox.The drainfield has 3 30' long laterals with 3'wide trenches as shown on the sketch. We put 800 gallons of water to the system over a 4 hour period and had no buildup in the d box at all. The Drainfield tested out great and we now have a location mapped out. I can update the drawing for the site plan showing this drainfeld. We will run a new transport line to the d box with the new tank installation as the old transport line is questionable at best. Please let me know if this satisfies the county for the tanks to be replaced now. If the owner has one,please provide a copy&add the drainfield area(s)to the submitted site plan(attached). The only septic records available are an old dye test& Bamford's tank inspection last year(I understand he didn't inspect the drainfield);both indicate a gravity system though(would this be a pump to gravity or conventional pressure?). The drainfield is going to need to be located& reflected on the site plan by a designer. Once I know the size&location of the drainfield, I may be able to approve the tank-only with the condition of the full O&M,any deficiencies would need to be corrected. You may want to advise the owner to speak with a designer to evaluate the entire situation,as they will already be necessary to locate the drainfield (not sure owner's future plans,etc.).
