As part of this department ' s review on your permit application, a
Shoreline (SPI) site inspection was performed on your property. Below you
will find comments made regarding the proposed development and it ' s
critical values .
In some cases, setbacks for development from shorelines, steep slopes,
streams, and wetlands must be included in your specific proposal; these
setbacks are included as part of the comments listed below..

COMMENTS:
26 . 50 acre property but 21 to 22 acres is wetland or floodplain; old
house still stands, old barn debris spread around, and old vehicles on
site; area south of house has building potential if septic system can be
installed (could meet 50 foot shore setback where area is levelled near
old barn) ; access road needs to allow drainage of water beneath roadway;
knoll on west side is 225 feet at greatest depth from road and 350 feet
wide, with one access point. Non water dependent uses would need greater
setbacks from shoreline (minimum of 100 feet from Ordinary High Water) .
