1) In accordance with the Uniform Building Code, all sites shall have approved numbers or addresses located in such a position as to be plainly visible and
legible from the street or road fronting the property. Mason County Building Department requires that this be completed prior to calling for any site
inspections. A re-inspection fee based on rates as adopted by the jurisdiction and the Uniform Building Code will be assessed if the owner and/or
contractor fail to post the address on site prior to requesting inspections.

This permit becomes null and void if work or construction authorized is not commenced within 180 days,or if construction or work is suspended for a period of 180 days at any time after work is
commenced. Evidence of continuation of work is a progress inspection within the 180 day period. Final inspection must be approved before building can be occupied.

I MET WITH THE OWNER ON SITE TO GO OVER SOME OF THE REQUIREMENTS THAT WOULD NEED TO BE DONE TO CONVERT THE COM. USE INTO RES.USE(R-3).I LET
HIM KNOW THAT HE WOULD NEED TO SUBMIT FLOOR PLANS SHOWING THE TOTAL SCOPE OF WORK BEING DONE.
1. IN THE NEW MECH.ROOM THE EXISITNG RETURN AIR DUCT WILL NEED TO BE EXTENDED TO THE INTERIOR WALL.
2. THE OWNER STATED THAT THE EXISITNG FRONT DOOR WAS GOING TO BE CHANGED OUT FROM A 30 INCH WIDE DOOR TO A 36 INCH WIDE DOOR PROVIDE A
FRAMING DETAIL TO THA OFFICE AS PART OF THE PLAN SUBMITTAL.
3. THE BUILDING AT THIS TIME DOES NOT HAVE A TUB/SHOWER OR A KITCHEN SINK A PLUMBING PERMIT WILL NEED TO OBTAINED.
4. THE NEW RANGE TOP FAN WILL NEED TO BE VENTED TO THE EXTERIOR
5. SMOKE DETECTORS WILL NEED TO BE INSTALLED PER THE UBC.1 ON EVERY FLOOR,1 IN EVERY BEDROOM, 1 IN THE HALLWAY ADJACENT TO THE BEDROOMS AND
1 AT THE TOP OF THE STAIRS.
6. 1 HANDAIL WILL NEED TO BE INSTALLED ON THE STAIRWAY. 1 1/4 TO 2 INCHES IN CROSS SECTIONAL AREA.34 TO 38 INCHES IN HEIGHT.WITH 1 1/2 INCH CLEARANCE
TO THE WALL.ALL MEASUREMENTS ARE TAKEN FROM THE NOSE OF EACH STEP.
7.EGRESS WINDOWS WILL NEED TO BE INSTALLED IN EACH BEDROOM PER THE UBC. 5.7 SQ.FT.OF OPEN AREA,44 INCH MAX. SILL HEIGHT.20 IN.WIDE AND 24 IN.HIGH
ARE THE MINIMUM DR,4ENSIONS,NOTE 2OX24 DOES NOT EQUAL 5.7 SQ. FT.
NOTE:THE HEALTH DEPT. WILL NEED TO REVIEW THE INTERIOR REMODEL BASED ON NUMBER OF BEDROOMS,THE BUILDING AT THIS TIME HAS NO BEDROOMS.
