This decision is based on our finding that:
The hearing was held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
Jonathan Seil, Appellant, was present at the hearing. Assessor Patti McLean was present.
The Appellant stated on his petition that he believes that property prices are dropping in value. He provided
three comparable sales from 2020 ranging in value from $12,000 to $34,000.
The Assessor provided four comparable sales from the same area sold closer to the assessed tax year. Sales
ranged in value from $62,000 to $96,245. The subject property falls below this range.
The Board found no clear, cogent, or convincing evidence that the Assessor was in error.
Therefore, the Board sustains the value for the land at $ 61,125 and improvements at $0 for a total of
$61,125 for the subject parcel.

ranged in value from $62,000 to $96,245. The subject properties land value falls below this range.
The Board found no clear, cogent, or convincing evidence that the Assessor was in error.
Therefore, the Board sustains the value for the land at $ 61,125 and improvements at $79,045 for a total of
$140,170 for the subject parcel.

Therefore, the Board sustains the value for the land at $26,075 and improvements at $2,500 for a total of
$28,575 for the subject parcel.
