mot) Installation specifications shall be available and on-site for inspection. (IFC 2403.7 &2403.9)
Fire apparatus access shall be maintained and shall extend to at least 150-ft of all portions of the structure. Tents and membrane structures shall
not be located within 20-ft of lot lines, buildings, other tents or membrane structures, parked vehicles or internal combustion engines. (IFC2403.82)
Motor vehicles may be displayed within tents or membrane structures provided batteries are disconnected in an approved manner, vehicles are not
fueled or defueled inside the structure, fuel inside the fuel tank shall not exceed 1/4 of the tank capacity or 5 gallons, whichever is less, verification
provided in writing that the fuel system is inspected for leaks before and during the event, fuel tank openings are locked to prevent escape of
vapors, and fuel is not stored inside the structure. (IFC 2404.18)
Exits openings shall remain open and aisle width of not less than 44-inches shall be maintained. Guy wires, guy ropes and other support members
shall not block exit paths or required aisles. When the occupant load based upon IBC Chapter 10 exceeds 50 exit signs installed in accordance to
IFC 2403.12.6. The calculated occupant load for this project is 8. (IFC 2403.12)
All tents and membrane structures shall be constructed of material meeting the flame propagation performance criteria of NFPA 701 or shall be
treated with a flame retardant in an approved manner and meet the flame propagation performance criteria of NFPA 701. The structure shall be
provided with a permanently affixed label bearing the identification of size and fabric or material type. The certificate that identifies the name of
owner and address, date the fabric was last treated with flame-retardant solution, trade name or kind of chemical used in treatment, name of firm
treating the material and name of testing agency and testing standard shall be retained inside the structure while installed at the temporary location.

Smoking shall not be permitted in tents or membrane structures and "No Smoking" shall be posted in a conspicuous location. (IFC204.6)
Open flames or other devices emitting flame, fire, or heat or any flammable or combustible liquids, gas, charcoal, or other cooking device shall not
be permitted inside or located within 20-ft of the tent or membrane structure. (IFC 2404.7)
There shall be a minimum clearance of at least 3-ft between the fabric envelope and all contents located inside the membrane structure. (IFC
2404.11)
Portable fire extinguishers, type 10B shall be provided such that the maximum travel distance to the fire extinguisher does not exceed 50-ft.
(IFC2040.12 and 906)
Combustible vegetation and waste material shall be removed inside and within 30-ft around the structure (IFC2404.21 and 2404.22)

2) Contractor registration laws are governed under RCW 18.27 and enforced by the WA State Dept of Labor and Industries, Contractor Compliance
Division. There are potential risks and monetary liabilities to the homeowner for using an unregistered contractor. Further information can be
obtained at 1-800-647-0982. TfZe person signing this condition is either the homeowner, agent for the owner or a registered contractor according to

3) All approved plans are required to be on-site for inspection purposes. If inspection is called for and plans are not on site, Approval WILL NOT be
granted. In addition, a reinspection fee, based on the current fee schedule, minimum one-hour wil a ch�1-ged and collected by the Mason County

5) ALL CONSTRUCTION MUST MEET OR EXCEED ALL LOCAL CODES AND THE INTERNATIONAL CODE REQUIREMENTS AND
OCCUPANCY IS LIMITED TO THE PERMITTED AND APPROVED'CLASSIFICATION. ANY CHANGE OF USE 0 OCCUPANCY WOULD
RESULT IN PERMIT REVOCATION. CHANGE OF USE MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO CHANGE. x I/
6) Provisions for surface/subsurface drainage control must be implemented with new construction or development on site and MUST NOT adversely
impact adjacent parcels. Under the requirements of Mason County Stormwater Ordinance, either private ditches and drains will meet requirements
of the stormwater ordinance or prior approval will be granted to use an existing utility and drainage easement dedicated for that specific purpose.
For further information regarding this ordinance and the REQUIREMENT to obtain an ACCESS PERMIT for the installation/construction of a
driveway or access connecting from a Mason County Road, Contact the Mason County Public Works Department prior to construction at Ext 450.
For any construction which is proposed to be located within 25' of a Mason County road right of way, it is suggested to contact that office to review
future planned wQjr high may affect your project.
7) Changes to approved building plans that affect compliance to the current Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), ventilationrequirements),
Xuilding/PPl_`biiDg/Mechanical Codes and/or Mason County Regulations shall be approved prior to construction.
8) CONSTRUCTION PROCESS TO BE FIELD CORRECTED AS REQUIRED PER MASON COUNTY BUILDING DEPARTMENT AND THE
ADOPTED BUILDING CODE.
The construction of the permitted project is subject to inspections by the Mason County Building Department. All construction must be in
conformance with the international codes as amended and adopted by Mason County. Any corrections, changes or alterations required by a
Masoqunty Building Inspector shall be made prior to requesting additional inspections.

9) All building permits shall have a final inspection performed and approved by the Mason County Building Department prior to permit expiration. The
failure to request a final inspection or to obtain approval will be documented in the legal property records on file with Mason County as being

10) All permits expire 180 days after permit issuance, or 180 days after the last inspection activity is performed. The Building Official may extend the
time for action for a period not exceeding 180 days, upon the receipt of a written extension request indicating that circumstances beyond the control
of the per it,h older have prevented action from being taken. No more than one extension may be granted.

time after work is commenced. Evidence of continuation of work is a progress inspection within the 180 day period. Final inspection must be approved before building can be
