RE: Zenith Homes Property(Parcel 931917-22-91003)Septic Reserve
Dear Inspector:
Attached is a plot plan for the Zenith Homes property located at 66 SE Lynch Rd,Shelton,WA 98584.
There is an existing structure on the property that will be used as a manufactured home sales office.See
attached plot plan for details.
Zenith Homes anticipates having a maximum of 4 employees and up to 12 customers per day:
4 employees @ 15 gpd= 60 gpd
12 customer,Ca) 5 and= 60 cod
Total 120 gpd
The site has an existing 2-bedroom equivalent septic system installed in 1980 which is designed to
support up to 240 gpd so the anticipated flows are well under the design capacity. According to records,
the existing system consists of a 1,000 gallon 2-compartment concrete septic tank followed by 80 lineal
feet of gravity drainfield trenches(240 s.f). The septic was recently inspected by Maples Excavating on
6-4-24 and showed"No Deficiencies Noted"with the drainfield accepting water for 20 minutes.
We have set aside 400 s.f.of drainfield trench reserve area,enough for a 2-bedroom equivalent septic in
Type 4 soil should it be needed in the future. This reserve area has no setback issues as it is 100+from
any wells or surface water. No soil is to be disturbed in this area and it should not be used for vehicle
traffic or parking. Water is supplied from a shared well located on Parcel#31917-22-91001.
