END OF ADDENDUM NO. 1 Pacific Northwest Bell Real Estate and Leasing Room 1502 Sixteen Hundred Bell Plaza Seattle,Washington 98191 i-' January 19, 1984 JAN 2 b Mr. Tim Fitzthum Mason County Planning P.O. Box 186 ;a_ !RAL S Shelton, WA 98584 Dear Mr. Fitzthum: In a telephone conversation on December 12, 1983 we discussed the parking requirement for our central office in Belfair. This was in connection with our proposed fourth building addition. You advised me that the parking ordinance did not specify a requirement for our type of facility and that the Industrial requirement of one space/two employees or one space per each 800 square feet gross floor area was probably the closest to our type of use. Since our conversation, I have checked with our architect and our building operations and central office people concerning the building size and population. With the fourth addition, we will have a total gross floor area of 3727.25 square feet. Under the Industrial classification we would be required to provide five parking spaces. As a result of this building addition and instal- lation of an electronic switching system, we will have just one person assigned to this office. There will be an occasional vehicle or two there from time to time as in the case of a super- visor stopping by. As shown on the enclosed site plan, we propose to provide three parking spaces at the rear of the building, which we feel will adequately meet our needs. Please advise me whether or not this will satisfy the requirements of Mason County and the community of Belfair. Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Sincerely, Larry D.
