All piping, valves, and fittings should be listed and Labeled by UL for fire service and installed, tested, and flushed in accordance with NFPA standards. A minimum temperature of a0°F must be maintained with a thermostatically controlled heating system in all areas containing wet pipe sprinkler equipment. 1. Revise design t 28/5,200 hich would be acceptable for the storage of Class III commodities to a s rage height of 18 feet on double-row racks, using conventional pallets, with 8 ft. aisles. 2. Reserve 150 gpm for inside hose allowance and 750 gprn for outside hose allowance. 3. Maximum velocities in calculations should not exceed 20 feet per second for overhead sprinkler piping. 4. The use of threadable lightwall sprinkler pipe is not recommended, If it is used, all threads must be gauged as required by UL listing. 5. Operation of dry pipe system to be in accordance with Article 3-2.3.1' and exceptions of NFPA 13, such that water reaches the Inspectors test within 60 seconds after it is opened,,Drains should be provided for all trapped piping in dry piDe system as specified in Article 4-14.3.5.3 of NFPA 13 11996►.
