Dear Mrs . Archer,
Thank you for responding to my letter of notification. I
believe that our phone conversation has clarified the issues at
hand.
It is my understanding that the trailer will be removed from
the site prior to August 30, 2000 . In the event that it is not,
you have agreed to contact me and discuss the situation further.
I have noted that your intent is to move into the existing
mobile/manufactured home on site and remove the trailer which is
presently being occupied. A portion of the complaint regarded.
encroachment into the sideyard setback. Upon speaking with you,
I believe that the removal of the trailer and/or the purchase of
the adjacent property will resolve that possible violation.
This case has been noted .as on a Pending Resolved status
which means that based. upon our conversation and the agreement
being fulfilled prior to August 30, 2000, I will take no more
enforcement action unless other violations occur on site. If in
the event 'that , the August date can not be met, if you contact me,
I am confident that we will be able to work out a solution that
would satisfy the current---regulations and--your- situation at that -
time.

RE: Building Violation Complaints
Dear Mr. and Mrs . Archer, '
Our office has received several complaints regarding the
possible RV/trailer which was located at 471 E. Panarama Drive
within the last 6 months.. As a result of those complaints, an
inspector met with you on site on 1-25-00 and discussed some of
those issues . This letter is a follow up to that conversation
and is to serve as an information source regarding the
regulations which may prohibit the activities occurring on site .
One of the concerns voiced by the complainant was the
sideyard setback. Pursuant to Mason County Ordinance 45-99,
Section 14 . 08 . 180 , all structures are required to be 5' from all
property lines, easement lines and 10' from county and state road
right of ways . I have included a copy of the ordinance for your
review. It appears that the location of this unit may be in
violation of the setback requirements .
The other issue is the classification of this 'V unit .
Based upon the information I have received, I am inclined to
believe that it would need to meet the criteria as outlined in
Mason County Ordinance 45-99, Title 14, Chapter 30 , which has
also been highlighted. This would require the proper
installation permit from Mason County and setup in a manner
consistent with WAC provisions as listed.
I would like to discuss these items with you .prior to APRIL
28, 2000 or receive documentation which would verify that these
complaints have been resolved either by removal, proper
permitting or are exempt from the criteria required under Mason
County regulations .
Please contact me at (360) 427-9670 ext 356, Monday through
