1) Approved p dimensions and setbacks on submitted site plan. Setbacks are measured from the furthest projection of the structure.
2) All other necessary permits from Mason County, Washington State and/or Federal Agencies that are required or this proposed development and
construction must be obtained PRIOR TO SAME DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION. X �i ,,
3) Provide an emergency power shutoff switch within 75 feet, but no closer than 25 feet from the dispensing station. Provide a NO SMOKING sign on
tank. Provide a 20 BC rated fire extinguisher located within 75 feet of dispensing station. Provide protective bollards as follows: Guard posts
constructed if steel not less than 4 inches in diameter and concrete filled, Spaced not more than 4 feet between posts on center, Set not less than 3
feet feep in a concrete footing of not less than 15 inches in diameter, Top of posts not less than 3 feet above ground, Located not less than 5 feet
from the tank. An inspection by the Mason County Fire Marshall is required before the tank ios put into service.

4) Contractor registration laws are governed under RCW 18.27 and enforced by the WA State Dept of Labor and Industries, Contractor Compliance
Division. There are potential risks and monetary liabilities to the homeowner for using an unregistered contractor. Further information can be
obtained at 1-800-647-0982. The person signing this condition is either the homeowner, agent for the owner or a registered contractor according to

5) All approved plans are required to be on-site for inspection purposes. If inspection is called for and plans are not on site, Approval WILL NOT be
granted. In addition, a reinspection fee, based on the current fee schedule, minimum one-hour will be char9ed. nd collected by the Mason County
Building Department prior to any further inspections being performed or approvals granted. X
6) Owner/Agent is responsible to post the assigned address and/or purchase and post private road signs in accordance with Mason County Title

7) ALL CONSTRUCTION MUST MEET OR EXCEED ALL LOCAL CODES AND THE INTERNATIONAL CODE REQUIREMENTS AND
OCCUPANCY IS LIMITED TO THE PERMITTED AND APPROVED CLASSIFICATION. ANY CHANGE OF USE O}} O CUPANCY WOULD

Building/Plu bi /Mechanical Codes and/or Mason County Regulations shall be approved prior to construction.

9)f CONSTRUCTION PROCESS TO BE FIELD CORRECTED AS REQUIRED PER MASON COUNTY BUILDING DEPARTMENT AND THE
ADOPTED BUILDING CODE.
The construction of the permitted project is subject to inspections by the Mason County Building Department. All construction must be in
conformance with the international codes as amended and adopted by Mason County. Any corrections, changes or alterations required by a
Mason County lding Inspector shall be made prior to requesting additional inspections.

10) All building permits shall have a final inspection performed and approved by the Mason County Building Department prior to permit expiration. The
failure to request a final inspection or to obtain approval will be documented in the legal property records on file with Mason County as being
non-compliant ith Mason County ordinances and building regulations.

11) All permits expire 180 days after permit issuance, or 180 days after the last inspection activity is performed. The Building Official may extend the
time for action for a period not exceeding 180 days, upon the receipt of a written extension request indicating that circumstances beyond the control
of the permit ho der have prevented action from being taken. No more than one extension may be granted.

12) All property lines shall be clearly identified at the time of inspection. X
13) By definition, propane tanks and heatpumps are structures, which must meet setback conditions. Please check your"Approved Site Plan"to
ensure these structures meet the setback conditions listed.

141 A final inspection of the tank and dispensing system shall be approved by the Mason County Building Department and Fire Marshal before the
tank is put into service.

Referencing the 2009 International Fire Code (IFC) Section 2203:
Dispensing devices shall be located as follows:
1. Ten feet or more from property-lines, or as required by Mason County Development Regulations, whichever is more.
2. Ten feet or more from buildings having combustible exterior wall surfaces or buildings having noncombustible exterior wall surfaces that are not
part of a 1 hour fire resistance rated assembly or building having combustible overhangs.
3. Such that the nozzle, when fully extended, will not reach within 5 feet of building openings.
4. Twenty-feet or more from fixed sources of ignition.
5. At least 15-ft away from sewer system openings (NFPA 58 6.22.2.2)

2203.2 Emergency disconnect switches.
An approved clearly identified and readily accessible emergency disconnect switch shall be provided at an approved location, to stop the transfer
fuel to the fuel dispensers in the event of a fuel spill or other emergency. An emergency disconnect switch for exterior dispensers shall be
permanently located within 100 feet of, but not less than 20 feet, from the fuel dispenser(s). and shall be distinctly labeled, "EMERGENCY FUEL
/ SHUTOFF. The markings for the switch shall be visible at the dispenser.

The LP-gas tank shall be placed on a concrete foundation and protected from physical damage and vehicle impact with guard posts that comply
with IFC 312.2 as follows:
1. Constructed of steel not less than 4 inches in diameter and concrete filled.
2. Spaced not more than 4 feet between posts on center.
3. Set not less than 3 feet deep in concrete footing of not less than a 15-inch diameter.
4. Set with the top of the posts not less than 3 feet above ground.
5. Located not less than 3 feet from the protected object.

Hoses and piping for dispensing of LP-gas shall be provided with hydrostatic relief valves. The hose length shall not exceed 18 feet. An approved
method shall be provided to protect the hose against mechanical damage.

A no-smoking sign shall be posted on or near the tank.

The LP-Gas dispenser shall not be placed under a weather shelter or canopy, unless approved. (NFPA58 6.22.3.3)

Motor fuel-dispensing facilities shall have at least one qualified attendant on-duty while the facility is open for business to supervise, observe and
control the dispensing of fuel.Operating instructions shall be conspicuously posted in approved locations on every dispenser. The dispensing
device shall be in clear view oft-he attendant at all times, without obstructions between the attendant and the dispensing area. Self-service,
unattended motor fuel-dispensing facilities shall comply with IFC 2204.3. (IFC2204)

15) This project is approved for the installation of a 1000 gallon Liquid-Propane gas tank for dispensing purposes. The tank shall be manufactured and
listed for the intended use.

This permit becomes null and void if work or construction authorized is not commenced within 180 days, or if construction or work is suspended for a period of 180 days at any
time after work is commenced. Evidence of continuation of work is a progress inspection within the 180 day period. Final inspection must be approved before building can be
occupied. Proof of continuation of work is by means of a progress inspection.The owner or the agent on the owners behalf, represents that the information provided is accurate
and grants employees of Mason County-access to4he above described property and structure for rev'ew and inspection.
