The violation(s) are occurring at the following property: Enforcement Case File No.: ENF2004-00475 Parcel No: 12329-13-00010 Site Address: 301 NE Old Belfair Hwy, Belfair, WA ❑ The Mason County Building Department investigated on 11/22/04 a complaint regarding the interior remodel of a structure at the above location which was previously posted by Mason County Environmental Health Department for non- occupancy. The building inspector noted that the complaint appeared valid and posted a Stop Work Order. According to the Mason County Assessor records,parties named above hold legal interest in the parcel and are therefore subject to enforcement action for failure to comply. In order to bring your site into compliance you must: 1) Stop Work Immediately 2) Achieve compliance with Mason County Department of Health Services, Environmental Health requirements regarding septic system.(Refer to attached Notice and order dated 1r3/03) 3) Re- apply for permit BLD2004-00007 which has been revoked in accordance with 2003 International Residential Code Section R 105.6 Suspension and Revocation and R105.5 Expiration. If the permit is re-issued, you must request required inspections, installation must comply with IRC, Section R308 and WSEC; and 4)Apply for and obtain after the fact permit for interior remodel work that has commenced in violation of the 2003 International Residential Code. The single family residence was originally posted for non-occupancy on February 13, 2003 by Mason County Environmental Health Department. A copy of that posting is attached. Note that the removal,mutilation, destruction or concealment of that notice is punishable by law. On November 22, 2004,that posting was not evident. Mason County permit BLD2004-00007 for windows has expired. The work was done without requesting the required inspections and does not meet minimum code standards. In addition,that permit has been revoked for failure to comply with Notice and Order dated January 3, 2003. This office will not issue permits without the approval from Mason County Environmental Health Dept. The inspector has also noted heavy equipment parked on site. If it is your intentions to perform land modification activities of any kind we recommend, due to the proximity of possible critical areas, that you contact the Mason County Planning Department prior to starting. Please make the necessary arrangements to achieve compliance prior to December 22, 2004. If the permits are not received by December 22, 2004, we will pursue additional enforcement action against you, including but not limited to civil infractions, liens against the property through the Mason County Hearings Examiner process and/or criminal prosecution as allowed under Title 14 and Title 15 of the Mason County Code.
