ADOPTED BY RESOLUTION 141-96 and MASON COUNTY CODE, TITLE 14, CHAPTER 14.44.

OWNER/BUILDER acknowledges submission of inaccurate information may result in a stop work order or permit
revocation. Acknowledgement of such is by signature below. I declare that I am the owner, owners legal representative, or
contractor. I further declare that I am entitled to receive this permit and to do the work as proposed. I have obtained
permission from all the necessary parties, including any easement holder or parties of interest regarding this project. The
owner or authorized agent represents that the information provided is accurate and grants employees of Mason County
access to the above described property and structure(s)for review and inspection. This permit/application becomes null &
void if work or authorized construction is not commenced within 180 days or if construction work is suspended for a period of
180 days. PROOF OF CONTINUATION OF WORK IS BY MEANS OF INSPECTION. INACTIVITY OF THIS PERMIT
APPLICATION OF 180 DAYS WILL INVALIDATE THE APPLICATION.
Archaeological or historical resources, such as ruins, sites, buildings, artifacts, fossils, or other objects of antiquity that
may have significance from an historical or scientific standpoint,which may be encountered by the developer/contractor,
shall not be further disturbed. If the developer/contractor encounters any such artifacts, he/she shall immediately stop work
and notify Mason County and the Washington State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation. Failure to do so
may result in civil penalties.
NO PARKING SIGNS MUST BE POSTED. Approved Fire Lane No Parking signs shall be on both sides of the proposed
road at intervals not to exceed 200 feet, at the turn-around adjacent to the north entrance to the Navy Railroad and on both
chain link access gates(on the approach sides). IRC 503.3
TURNING RADIUS.All turning radii of the access road shall not be less than a minimum of 25 feet on the interior and 45
feet on the exterior.Any turns less than this shall be extended to meet this standard. MCC14.17.100
GATE OPERATION.The proposed gate shall be capable of accepting a "Knox Box"style padlocks as used by North
Mason Fire District to secure said gates. Sufficient padlocks shall be provided to secure all gates. MCC14.17.180
All other necessary permits from Mason County, Washington State and/or Federal Agencies that are required for this
proposed development and construction must be obtained PRIOR TO SAME DEVELOPMENT AND CONSTRUCTION.
* Approved per site plan and topographic cross-section.
• All fills shall be compacted to a minimum of 90 percent of maximum density.
• All culverts shall be maintained in perpetuity to ensure that drainage will not overflow.
" The owner/applicant shall provide to Mason County inspection reports prepared by the engineer record, complying with
the requirements as noted in Chapter 14.44,section 14.44.220 through 14.44.230.
All areas disturbed or newly created by construction activities shall be seeded, vegetated or given some other equivalent
type of protection against erosion.
" Cut and fill slopes shall be setback from site boundaries in accordance with Section 14.44.190.
" Compliance with an approved Storm Water Plan shall be subject to an on site inspection, or inspections, by the engineer
of record or an authorized representative. Said inspection(s) shall be performed in accordance with the approved plan, and
prior to any modification that would make a determination of compliance impossible.
Inspection reports shall be submitted to verify all engineering requirements have been completed in accordance with the
approved storm water plan. Reports shall be submitted to the Mason County Department of Community Development prior
to each corresponding inspection and final permit approval. Copies of all special inspection reports shall be made available
at time of inspection.
" ALL SURFACE WATER AND POTENTIAL RUNOFF WILL BE CONTROLLED ON SITE AND SHALL NOT ADVERSLY
AFFECT ANY ADJACENT PROPERTIES NOR INCREASE THE VELOCITY FLOW ENTERING OR ABUTTING TO ANY
STATE OR COUNTY CULVERTING/DITCHING SYSTEM OR ROAD WAY

" Provisions for surface/subsurface drainage control must be implemented with new construction or development on site and
MUST NOT adversely impact adjacent parcels. Under the requirements of Mason County Stormwater Ordinance, either
private ditches and drains will meet requirements of the stormwater ordinance or prior approval will be granted to use an
existing utility and drainage easement dedicated for that specific purpose. For further information regarding this ordinance
contact the Mason County Public Works Department prior to construction at Ext 450.
Compliance with an approved Storm Water Plan shall be subject to an on site inspection, or inspections, by the engineer
of record or an authorized representative. Said inspection(s)shall be performed in accordance with the approved plan, and
prior to any modification that would make a determination of compliance impossible.
