Depending on the estimated annual gasoline throughput for this new facility, there are different requirements for vapor control. In summary, all gas stations with an annual gasoline throughput greater that 100,000 gallons are required to install Stage I vapor recovery. Gas stations in Mason county with an annual gasoline throughput greater than 1,500,000 gallons are required to install Stage II vapor recovery if a lot with a permanent residence is within the distance and throughput specifications listed in WAC 173-491-040(5)(c). Please see Chapter 173-491 WAC for more details. Please return Fonn 1, Forni 16, and a NOC fee of$400 for each new gas station. OAPCA has 60 days from receipt of a complete application to finish the review and approval process. This process can take place simultaneous with SEPA proceedings or after provided that the NOC is approved prior to beginning construction at the proposed site.
