I have also been in contact with Mr. Schauer regarding what was required for his proposal in regards to stormwater management. Because of the size of the whole Schauer parcel, and the relatively modest and favorable location of the proposed improvements (little or no chance of impacting neighboring properties), the site plan submitted is accepted in terms of stormwater management planning. The applicant is responsible to ensure that no mud or silt is tracked onto the State Highway, and that the State may need to be contacted (Larry Anderson (360) 3 5 7-2 7 0 9) if an access to the property does not already exist. In this situation,the owner's own undeveloped property can be viewed as providing a natural vegetative buffer between their development activities and adjacent neighboring properties.
