Existing concrete boat ramp and portions of concrete bulkhead are deteriorating and cracked. We would like to
replace and/or repair existing areas with new, using same basic footprint of current structure. See building
permit construction drawing and approved engineering submitted with building permit package.
Planning Presite Inspection was accomplished Nov 2014, SP12014-00073, by Mason County Planner, Ken
Williams we believe. Discussion on plan to fix was favorable, and plans and engineering progressed.

Our plan is to replace the deteriorated concrete boat ramp and affected bulkhead with new concrete, using
existing footprint. We will use a manual concrete saw cutter and manually removed pieces off site. Minimal
material will be removed at footing of existing bulkhead in order to get removed and new concrete forms set. All
removed material will be carefully set aside and protected until reinstallation back in same area of new concrete
footing and bulkhead.

Work will be accomplished during non-high time periods. We will remove beach gravel material away from
existing footing, just enough to remove existing footing and bulkhead, and set up new forms to pour new footing,
distance approximately 1 foot away from footing. Removed material will be set aside and protected, and
reinstalled along new concrete footing in same location.
