Re: Permit Numbers BLD693-0972, MI893-0300, MIS93-0259
Dear Sirs:
This letter is to request a six-month extension to permit numbers
BLDG93-0972 and MIS93-0259. Permit number MIS93-0300 has been signed
off (final inspection approval) .
Permit MIS93-0259 resulted in a correction notice, which required three
things:
(l) Reduction in size of woodshed.
(2) Demolition permit and demolition of three-stall carport (MIS93-0300) .
(3) Building permit and changes to second floor of home (BLDG93-0972) .
The first two items above havc been completed, and signed off on the correction
notice on IS November 1993 by your inspector. In addition, significant progress
has been made on the third item. Smoke alarms have been installed on the
second floor, per code. A small deck has been added outside of the exterior
door. We have applied for and received an electrical work permit #522896
through the Department of Labor and Industries, and have purchased the heaters
and wiring to begin. An inspection by your department on 18 November 1993
granted temporary occupancy on the second floor to all but the master bedroom,
which still needs an egress window.
Progress on the above permits was delayed because we had agreed in our house
sale agreement in July 1993 that the buyer was going to assume the permits and
complete them. The sale of the home, however, fell through in October of 19931,
leaving us with this responsibility, and four months behind schedule.
Since we are progressing on the building permit (s) in good faith, we hereby
request that you grant us a six-month extension, and put a copy of this
letter in each of the permit files. If we do not hear from you, we will assume
that this extension has been granted.
