An approved clearly identified and readily accessible emergency disconnect switch shall be provided at an approved location, to stop the transfer fuel to the fuel dispensers in the eventof a fuel spill or other emergency. An emergency disconnect switch for exterior dispencers shall be located within J,00 feet of, but not less than 20 feet from the fuel dispencers. The switch shall be labled as : EMERGENCY FUEL SHUTOFF. X A 2A206 fire extinguisher shall be provided not more than 75 feet from storage tank fill piping opening, pumps, or dispencers. X Guard posts shall comply with all of the following requirements: 1. Constructed of steel not less than 4 inches in diameter and concrete filled. 2. Spaced not more than 4 feet between posts on center. 3. Set not less than 3 feet deep in concrete footing of not less than a 15 inch diameter. 4. Set with the top of the posts not less than 3 feet above ground. 5. Locatpjd not less than 3 feet from the protected object. X Hoses and piping for dispensing of Lp gas shall be provided with hydrostatic relief valves. The hose length shall not exceed 18 feet. An approved method hall be provided to protect the hose against mechanical damage. X A no- ruoking sign shall be posted on or near the tank. X 3) Approv pe imensions and setbacks on submitted site plan. Setbacks are measured from the furthest projection of the structure. X 4) Con ractor registration laws are governed under RCW 18.27 and enforced by the WA State Dept of Labor and Industries, Contractor Compliance Division. There are potential risks and monetary liabilities to the homeowner for using an unregistered contractor. Further information can be obtained at 11-800-647-q982, The person signing this condition is either the homeowner, agent for the owner or a registered contractor according to WA state law. X , 5) Provide an emergency power shutoff switch within 75 feet, but no closer than 25 feet from the dispensing station. Provide a NO SMOKING sign on tank. Provide a 20 BC rated fire extinguisher located within 75 feet of dispensing station. An inspection by the Mason County Fire Marshall is required before the tank ios put into service. In addition, a reinspection fee, based on the current fee schedule, minimum one-hour will charged and collected by the Mason County Building Department prior to any further inspections being performed or approvals granted. X 11) All building permits shall have a final inspection performed and approved by the Mason County Building Department prior to permit expiration. The failure to request a final inspection or to obtain approval will be documented in the legal property records on file with Mason County as being non-co pliant yvith Mason County ordinances and building regulations. X 12) All permits expire 180 days after permit issuance, or 180 days after the last inspection activity is performed. The Building Official may extend the time for action for a period not exceeding 180 days, upon the receipt of a written extension request indicating that circumstances beyond the control of the p it holder have prevented action from being taken. No more than one extension may be granted. X This permit becomes null and void if work or construction authorized is not commenced within 180 days, or if construction or work is suspended for a period of 180 days at any time after work is commenced. Evidence of continuation of work is a progress inspection within the 180 day period. Final inspection must be approved before building can be occupied.
