Dear Mr.and Mrs. Lora,
During the yearly inspection of your business(Union River Grill)the following items were identified:
• 901 Have your fire extinguishers serviced annually by a licensed technician. Due in June of 2016.
• 609.1 Have your range suppression system serviced every six months or as use determines by a licensed technician. Due
December of 2015.
• 3003.2 Chain all compressed gas cylinders to prevent from tipping.
• Remove obstructions(refrigerator)from in front of fire suppression activation station.
• Clean hood. This is required to be serviced and cleaned every six months or as needed to prevent buildup of grease. Due
August of 2016.
• 605.5 Discontinue use of extension cords in as a substitute for permanent wiring.
• 605.6 Open junction boxes shall be provided with covers.
We request that these violations be corrected by October 30th. We have documented reoccurring issues for the past couple of years
without successful completion of the violations. As you know fire inspections are directly linked to the low insurance rates that all
businesses in our area are benefiting from. We support our local businesses and their continued support to our community. Without
you,we would not be here.
Our goal is to protect the property and lives of our citizens and your customers. We ask that the listed items be corrected as quickly as
possible. Failure to comply will result in the following:
• Notification of your insurance carrier.
• Mason County Fire Marshal's office notification.
• Washington State Fire Marshal notification.
• Washington State Department of Health notification.
• Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board notification.
