SUBJ: Stormwater Site Plan Review NAME: Lee Allyn Hotel in Allyn
COM2002-00072
Allan,
Public Works has received and reviewed the Stormwater Site Plan(SSP) prepared by Mr. James
Bottom, P.E., for the proposed Lee Allyn Hotel/retail land use in Allyn.
The SSP conforms to Ecology and Mason County requirements and standards. The SSP contains
a Temporary Erosion and Sediment Control Plan which should be followed during development
of the site.
The County's Stormwater Management Ordinance includes a requirement that privately owned
and maintained stormwater control facilities be covered with an Operation and Maintenance
Covenant which insures the continuing function and maintenance of stormwater control features.
Enclosed please find a copy of the covenant form Public Works employs to meet this
requirement. The applicant should complete the form, sign and notarize the form, record the
completed covenant with the County's Auditor's office, and deliver a copy of the recorded
covenant for monitoring and administration.
The applicant is responsible to ensure that no mud or silt is tracked onto the State Highway, and
that the State may need to be contacted (Larry Anderson(360) 3 5 7-2 7 0 9) if an access to the
property does not already exist.
Please direct the applicant to notify Public Works when the stormwater control features have
been completed so that they may inspected and checked for conformance to the accepted plan.
Please feel free to contact me at County extension 461 if you have any questions regarding these
comments, or if you feel other issues need further attention.
