HomeMy WebLinkAbout2015/06/02 - Special BOARD OF MASON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS Emergency Meeting Thursday,July 2,2015 411 Forth 5"'Street,Shelton,WA Fire Chief Bob Burbridge and Mike Evans,MACECOM,requested the County Commissioners adopt a Declaration of Emergency due to extreme fire danger. Staff attempted to contact Commissioners Neatherlin, Jeffreys and Sheldon. Pursuant to RCW 42.30.070,Times and Places for Meetings of the OPMA, "requirements of this chapter shall be suspended during such emergency". At 11:10 a.m.Diane Zoren made contact with Cmmr. Tim Sheldon, via telephone, and Cmmr.Terri Jeffreys was present in the Commissioners' office,411 North 5th Street, Shelton,WA and an emergency meeting was held. Commissioners Sheldon and Jeffreys agreed to adopt a Declaration of Emergency,Resolution No. 31-15. The meeting adjourned at 11:12 a.m. At 12:10 p.m. Cmmr.Randy Neatherlin came into the office and also signed the document. Frank Pinter and Brian Matthews provided notification to Chief Bu rbridge.
