P|edgeofAUegionce— Tom Davis led the flag salute. 3. Roll Call — Present: Commissioner District 1 - Randy Neatherlin; Commissioner District 2—Tim Sheldon; Commissioner District 3—Terri Jeffreys. 4. Correspondence and Organizational Business 4.1 Correspondence 4.1.1 Washington State Liquor Control Board sent special occasion license applications for Mason County Senior Activities Association and Allyn Community Association and a marijuana license application for Seattle Inceptive Group. 4.1.2 Jack Johnson and Jeff'Carey submitted applications for the Transportation Improvement Program-Citizen Advisory Panel (TIP-CAP). 4.1.3 Maria Cantwell forwarded a letter from a constituent concerning the Mason County Jail. 4.1.4 Fire District sent notice that Fine Fighter Ron Ford has been appointed to the EMS (Emergency Medical Services) council and Phil HarGnavea will serve an alternate. Chair Neather|in saidTIP'CAP is an important committee and he urges people to participate. 5. Open Forum for Citizen Input—There was no citizen input. 6. AdoptionofAganda - Cmnmmr. SheUdom/Jeffreysmmoved and seconded to adopt the agenda as published. Motion carried unanimously. N-aye; S-aye; ]-aye. 7. Approval ofMinutes —Approval of the January 12, 2U15 briefing minutes and January 13, 2O15 regular meeting minutes. Cmmmmr. Jeffreys/Sheldon mmoved and seconded to approve the January 12, 2015 briefing minutes and January 13/ 2015 regular meeting minutes. Motion carried unanimously. M0- aye; S-aye;]_aye. 8. Approval of Action Agenda: 8.1 Approval of the Veterans Assistance Fund applications for: Food $1SU.0U, Utilities $1437.10and Housing $1,131.28 for a total of$2,7O8.38 as recommended bv the Veterans Service Office. 8.2 Approval for the Chair to sign multiple listings of Mason County surplus nao| estate for two properties located at E. Angle Tracts, Shelton and another at 11950 E. State Route 106, Union. 8.3 Approval of Warrants: Claims Clearing Fund Warrant #s 8017913-80179 $ 3,709.50 Salary Clearing Fund VVorrant #'s 700760-7000798 $821,748.68 Direct Deposit Fund VVarnant #s 19061-19435 $558,171.22 Cmmr. Sheldon suggested that total be provided with the approval of warrants. Cmmr. Jeffreys and Cnnmr. Neather|inagree. Cmmmmr. Sheldon/Jeffreys moved and seconded to approve item 8.1 through item 8.3. Motion carried unanimously. N-aye; S-aye; J-aye. 9. Public Hearings and Items Set for a Certain Time—there were no public hearings. 10. Other Business (Department Heads and Elected Officials) — BOARD OF MASON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS' PROCEEDINGS 3anuary 27, 2015 - PAGE 2 10.1 Public Health Director, Vicki Kirkpatrick spoke about the Drug Prevention PSA video made by Shelton School District SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) and WSU Youth in Action. Mason County Public Health provided a small grant for this project. The Board of Health watched the video at today's meeting. She said she thinks this video was very well done, very professional and it had a great impact on those who watched it. She said it is being reviewed by the Shelton School Board but it should be more widely available for viewing soon. The Board requested it be placed on the County's website in the near future. Vicki commented that today was a very nice Board of Health meeting and it really gives a great feeling about the talent, abilities and leadership of some of the kids in Mason County. Cmmr. Neatherlin said he was not for funding this project at first but he is glad he did. It was very well done. Cmmr. Jeffreys agrees it was very well done and very artistic. 11. Board's Reports and Calendar-The Commissioners reported on meetings attended the past week and announced their upcoming weekly meetings. 12.
