Support Services—Frank Pinter Commissioners Shutty and Jeffreys were in attendance. Commissioner Neatherlin was absent. • 4 h of July meeting schedule was reviewed. Commissioners agreed to cancel briefings and regular meeting that week. • Resolution to allow departments/offices to transfer dollars between the two budget bottom lines will be brought forward. • Proclamation for National Correctional Officers' and Employees'Week will be placed on tomorrow's agenda. • 5t`Tuesday meeting in Belfair,May 30,is tentatively scheduled. Possible agenda items include discussion of the DOT corridor sketch initiative and Community Services may be seeking community input on changes to the Belfair UGA sign ordinance. • Proposed amendment to ILA with the TMBHO that allows the TMBHO to organize as a Limited Liability Company(LLC)will be placed on the agenda. 9:15 A.M. Public Works—Jerry Hauth/Melissa McFadden Utilities&Waste Management Commissioners Shutty and Jeffreys were in attendance. Commissioner Neatherlin was absent • Interlocal agreement with Thurston County for cooperative traffic and road maintenance services including road striping was approved to move forward. An agreement will be coming forward from Bremerton. • Rustlewood water shut off in error over weekend and was corrected. • Beaver dam on Highway 302 in Belfair and 10 beavers were removed from near Highway 300 which has had issues for some time. • Free dump day-request from United Way for the Day of Caring in August. Jerry stated there has been requests from citizens who are doing clean up around the county to dump for free and the utility needs some direction. Jerry suggested a comprehensive briefing to determine what program the Commissioners want to support. Commissioner Discussion—as needed • Cmmr. Shutty asked for Cmmr.Jeffrey's thoughts on a programmatic environmental impact study. He understands the Port of Allyn has been exploring an industrial park. There is funding available through the EPA. The topic will be brought forward when Cmmr.Neatherlin returns.
