Notice of Application and Public Hear-
ing Notice is hereby given that OVERTON
&ASSOCIATES,who are the applicants for
the following proposal, has filed an appli-
cation for a Special Use Permit(SUP2022-
00001)for a proposed industrial park as a
special use as permitted in the business-
industrial district and the associated im-
provements. Location: 25400 NE STATE
ROUTE 3, Belfair, WA 98528 Parcel Num-
ber: 12321-41-000000 &12321-14-00001

The proposed development is reviewed
under the applicable chapters of the Mason
County Code, specifically MCC 17,23.220
Special Uses in the Master Planned Mixed
Use District, and MCC 15.03.050.J which
details that Type III permits must be re-
viewed by the Hearings Examiner, and
MCC 15.09.050 which establishes Type
III review criteria. The proposal requires
Hearing Examiner approval. The submit-
ted documents may be reviewed at the
following website. https://co-mason-wa.
smartgovcommunity.com/Public/Home by
using My Portal and the application num-
ber (SUP2022-00001) or you may contact
Scott Ruedy, Senior Planner for access
to the documents. The Determination of
Consistency with the Planned Action Ordi-
nance for this project was issued on May 6,
2022.Any person desiring to express their
view or to be notified of the action taken
on the application should join the public
hearing via Zoom on May 25, 2022,or mail
comments to Scott Ruedy, Senior Plan-
ner, Mason County Department of Com-
munity Services,615 W.Alder St.;Shelton,
WA 98584. Or Email comments or ques-
tions to Scott Ruedy at sruedy@co.mason.
wa.us. A PUBLIC HEARING will be held on
May 25, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. by the Mason
I County Hearing Examiner on the proposed
project via the online meeting application
Zoom. Written and oral testimony will be
accepted up to the close of the hearing.
