I wanted to confirm our conclusion regarding the construction type for the proposed St. Hugh Church building in Allyn. Our records show that the entire building will be sprinklered and will have a basic fire alarm system. Therefore, the construction type is approved to be Type V, Non-Rated. However, the requirement for One-Hour construction applies only to exterior walls. The requirement for a One-Hour separation between floors is still relevant and is not affected by the installation of a sprinkler system.
