Dear Mr. Haakenson:
Multi-family structures must be approved by the Planning Commission.
The Commission meets on Monday, August 20th, at 7 :00 p.m. Your project
will be on the agenda for that evening.
We need the names and addresses of any and all property owners within
300 feet of the property. They will be notified of the hearing, and a
legal notice will be published in the Shelton-Mason County Journal. This
information should be provided by July 31.

RE: Building permit for Pacific Mobile Leasing
On June 11, 1984, the applicant made application for a building permit
to place a modular fourplex on Lot 2 of Belfair Barn Subdivision,
approximately 3/4 mile north of Belfair, on the Old Belfair Highway.
The permit did not get out of the Environmental Health Section until
July 21. At that time the Planning Section determined that the project
needed Planning Commission review. The Planning Commission meeting of
July 16, was past, the next meeting being August 20.
It is the opinion of staff that , in designating the area for
multi-family, the Planning Commission intended a higher density for this
area. The lot is 25,000 square feet, has an approved water system and
sewage system approved for eight bedrooms.
Rather than hold the permit up another month or longer, the decision
of staff is to issue the permit.
