All Special Inspections shall be noted on the approved plans or attached approved documents_ 3. All special inspections shall be approved by the County or as recommended by the Engineer of Record (EOR). 4. It is the responsibility of the General Contractor to review County approved plans for additional inspection or testing requirements that may be noted or required per IBC as noted on approved plans. 5. The General Contractor is responsible for proper notification to the Inspection/Testing Agency for items listed on this form. 6. Special Inspectors shall provide detailed reports on company letterhead to the Building Inspector of all required inspection activities. Erosion control measures must be in place prior to any clearing, grading, or construction. These control measures must be effective to prevent soil from being carried into surface water by stormwater runoff. Any discharge of sediment-laden runoff or other pollutants to waters of the state is in violation of state regulations. Any work in or adjacent to waterways that will adversely affect water quality must receive specific prior authorization from the Department of Ecology.
