Erosion control measures must be in place prior to any clearing, grading, or construction. These control measures must be effective to prevent soil from being carried into surface water by stormwater runoff. Any discharge of sediment-laden runoff or other pollutants to waters of the state is in violation of state regulations. If the developer/contractor encounters any such artifacts, he/she shall immediately stop work and notify Mason County and the Washington State Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation. The proposed work will occur on Tacoma Power's Cushman Hydroelectric Project lands fronting your development lot No. 15, Plat of Lake Cushman Westside 2 (CPN: 52309-50- 00015). Tacoma Power has no objection to you moving forward with regulatory permitting for the proposed activities on Tacoma Power property. Once regulatory permits are obtained, the proposed action will require issuance of a short-term license from Tacoma Power before any work occurs on Tacoma Power property waterward of 742 feet elevation, and a Shoreline Use Permit once work is completed.
