Dear Mr. Eger:
RE: Hydraulic Project Approval, October 19, 1993, Stream & Culvert Relocation -
Violation Correction, Unnamed Tributary Union River, Mason County, WRIA 15,
Control Number: 01-88290-02
A representative of this department has reviewed the referenced Hydraulic Project
Approval, and the following provisions shall be added:
19. The culvert shall be of sufficient size to pass the fifty-year flood
event.
20. The culvert shall'be installed at 0.0% to 0.5%gradient,with the
bottom of the culvert countersunk below the stream bed. The
culvert shall be countersunk a minimum of 20% of the pipe
diameter at the inlet and outlet.
21. The culvert length shall not exceed 18 feet.
All other provisions of the original approval and amendments shall remain as written, and
this letter shall be attached and on the job site at all times.
