Mason County Department of Community Development staff have reviewed the Initial
Review Questionnaire that you completed for the above noted proposal to be built near
Belfair along State Route 3.

The Mason County Comprehensive Plan defines the location of your proposal as within the
Belfair Urban Growth Area. Under the Comprehensive Plan Development Regulations, the
church land use is a permitted use, as noted in the permitted use matrix (Figure 1.03.020).
At the scheduled pre-submission conference on March 11, 1998, you were present to hear
the standards and codes that must be followed for a two floor structure, including building
and fire protection codes, stormwater management, parking and buffers along the property.

PRE-SUBMISSION CONFERENCE APPLICATION
Mason County uses the pre-submission conference to assist applicants in preparing
proposals which are oonsistent with all.Mason County, City of Shelton (when
applicable) and PUD conkers and regulations. At the pre-submission conference,
representatives of all relevant departments will be In attendance and will be able to
inform you of the.ragulattomand standards with which your proposal must comply.
This is a general Informational meeting for the applicant and does not constitute
approval of the proposal. Pre-submission conferences are only held on Wednesdays
and are approximately 60 minutes in length. SEVEN COPIES OF A DETAILED SITE
PLAN SHALL BE SUBMITTED ONE WEEK PRIOR TO THE CONFERENCE, The site
plan must contain all setbacks between proposed and existing structures and the .
property lines. if applicable, please show all critical areas (shorelines, wetlands,
landslide hazard areas.) All existing and proposed structures must be shown and
labeled with their use and the type of construction materials to be Used (i.e. stick built,
modular, etc.) PLEASE PRINT when completing this application.

The worship area will be constructed slab on
grade with CMU exterior wall construction,
furred with wood fiaming and GWB on the
interior. The remainder of the facility will be
wood frame floor and wall construction with
wood sidings.The roof will be constructed
with engineered wood muses and asphah
shingle roofing. Heating system will be a
combination of radiant floor and forced air
